The AIDA Dashboard is committed to protecting user privacy. This privacy notice explains how we handle data when you access and use our service.

1. Data Collection and Processing

We do not collect, process, or store any personal data of visitors. The dashboard processes publicly available scholarly datasets and aggregated academic metrics provided by the AIDA Knowledge Graph.

2. Strictly Necessary Cookies

This website uses strictly necessary technical cookies (specifically, session identifiers and CSRF security tokens) solely to ensure proper navigation, secure interactions, and site functionality. These cookies do not track users across external sites and do not gather personal information.

3. Conversational Assistant & API Keys

Guest users using the conversational assistant can provide their own OpenAI API key. This key is stored exclusively in the user's browser (via localStorage) so that it does not need to be re-entered on every page load. The API key is never stored on our servers.

Chat sessions and interaction histories are stored on our servers linked only to an anonymous session ID. This session ID is not connected to the user's IP address and is used solely to maintain the assistant's context during navigation, as well as for usage analysis and debugging.

4. Third-Party Sharing

No usage data is sold, shared, or transferred to third parties.
